Vietnam Fully Washed Robusta Green Coffee Beans – Grade 1
Overview
This Grade 1 fully washed Robusta coffee is sourced from Dak Lak Province, the heart of Vietnam’s Robusta production. Cultivated at an elevation of around 800 meters and carefully selected at peak ripeness, these beans are processed using the wet method to achieve higher cleanliness, improved uniformity, and a more refined cup profile compared to traditional dry processed Robusta.
Flavor Profile
The cup is strong, bold, and full-bodied with a dominant earthy foundation. Thanks to wet processing, harsh bitterness and excessive astringency are significantly reduced, resulting in a smoother mouthfeel and cleaner finish. Light notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and dry wood emerge in the aftertaste, which remains long and pleasant.
Processing Method – Fully Washed
Fresh coffee cherries are depulped shortly after harvest, fermented in clean water to remove mucilage, then thoroughly washed and sun-dried to reach optimal moisture content. This wet processing method helps enhance cup clarity, stability, and overall flavor balance.
